I was non-plus. I did like the accuracy of the 9 but, specially on multi shot engagements. Something abt the Colt, that was nice. Maybe the familiarity of the weapon. Like a Bic ligter. It just feels right. I digress, I nipped a guy durin DS/DS. G+1 He went down w/ GSW RT Tib/Fib Open. On the hold it was a shitty day, but I made it thru, again. I was in Force Recon, we kept the .45, and a friend of mine Recon from Vietnam gave up the .45 and went to the .357 mag because even the .45 generally requires two rounds to put someone down. However, for the average troop the .45 auto is outstanding, it killed a lot of Nazi's and commies, and it will kill terrorists just as well. Part of the reason for VAF is apply pressure to the not only academia and it prejudices against veterans, but also to apply pressure to the military who will risk the lives of it soldiers for political reasons.
